International Missions

First Presbyterian Church seeks to respond to God’s call not only in our local community, but with partners beyond our national borders. FPC serves alongside of mission partners in the Reformed Church (FJKM) in Madagascar, Streethearts in Cap Haitien, Haiti and The Presbyterian Church of East Africa’s Tumutumu Hospital and School for the Deaf in Kenya.

Together, we are called to spread the good news, learn from one anothers’ culture, and discern mutual ministry opportunities.

MADAGASCAR

  • Streethearts, haiti

Streethearts works as a change agent for street kids in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, helping to redirect the course of their lives by providing for fundamental needs along their path from childhood to adulthood. We don’t believe in institutionalizing children. Each child steps into an individualized life plan when they enroll. The key to self-improvement starts with each child’s acceptance of who he is and developing his plan for the future.

  • Tumutumu Hospital and School for the Deaf, Kenya

PCEA Tumutumu Hospital is located in Mt. Kenya region, Nyeri County, 5km from Karatina town and 1 kilometer off the Nyeri-Karatina Highway. It is a prominent healthcare establishment devoted to providing excellent curative services to the local community and beyond.
