The Current Issues class will draw on two resources for its fall study topics: The Wired Word and TheoEd talks. The Wired Word offers two topics each week – each topic relating a current event to scripture to encourage discussion and reflection. The class teacher chooses one of those topics. TheoEd offers a “Ted-talk” style video introducing a scriptural or theological theme led by a leading theologian or person of faith in our time and provides scripture and questions for class discussion around each theme.
