WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE Dinner & Program - November 13
First Presbyterian Church's Wednesday Night Ministry Program is a treasured part of our church community. Sponsored by the Family Connections/Strengthening of the Church Committee, Wednesday Night Live has the goal to promote intergenerational relationship-building over meals and through programming. Come participate! Church members and guests alike have the opportunity to strengthen connections and nurture faith through feasting, study, mission and fellowship! We have a great team making plans for meals and programming. Take a night off from cooking and enjoy dinner catered by local restaurant Southern Ale House. Enjoy fellowship with old friends and meet new ones, too!
Dinner served from 5:15 PM - 6:00 PM in the Dining Hall. Dinner costs $8 per person with a maximum of $20 per family.
Program at 6:00 PM in Chapel Hall
The House Tuscaloosa: "Do The Right Thing"
Speaker: Pastor Lori Maxey
Mission of the House Tuscaloosa: The House Tuscaloosa exists to promote and develop literacy through a holistic, community-responsive approach with a focus on West Tuscaloosa. We also seek to become a Third Space for those who need one: a place where you find community with others, a place that shapes and inspires you.
Rev. Maxey will offer new books for purchase from $1 - $3 each after her talk on The House Tuscaloosa as a means of supporting our church’s Angel Tree Project. Books will be labeled according to reading grade level so members who wish to purchase a book for their Angel can identify the best choice for their chosen Angel.
