First Pres Wednesdays: Wednesday Night Ministry

First Presbyterian Church's Wednesday Night Ministry Program is a treasured part of the church community. Sponsored by the Family Connections/Strengthening of the Church Committee, First Pres Wednesdays has the goal to promote intergenerational relationship-building over meals and through programming. 


Join us for First Pres Wednesdays on Wednesday evenings this fall!


Come participate - church members and guests alike, having the opportunity to strengthen connections and nurture faith through feasting, study, mission and fellowship!


We have a great team making plans for meals and programming. Take a night off from cooking and enjoy dinner catered by local restaurant Southern Ale House. Enjoy fellowship with old friends and meet new ones, too! Check out the list of planned programs below.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER RESERVATIONS

Wednesday Menus (Dinner served at 5:15 p.m. in the Dining Room). Dinner costs $8 per person with a maximum of $20 per family.


Upcoming Menus (Catered by Southern Ale House):

  • Nov. 8 - Grilled or Fried Chicken Tenders, Mac & Cheese, and Green Beans
  • Nov. 15 - BBQ Pork/Chicken, Slaw, Baked Beans, and Mac & Cheese
  • Nov. 29 - Spaghetti, Salad, and Bread
  • Dec. 20 - TBD

Be sure to make your reservations by Monday at Noon for our meal on the upcoming Wednesday. You can even make your reservations for several weeks at one time. If you do not make a reservation by Noon, you MUST call the church office to be added to the list, but we can not guarantee there will be enough food. We MUST turn in a headcount by Noon on Monday.
