Nathan's professional background is in digital media production, with an MFA in Film & Television from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, GA, as well as Masters and Bachelors Degrees in Telecommunication & Film from the University of Alabama.
Nathan works many freelance and contract jobs employing his skills as a graphic designer, photographer, and videographer. He teaches media production courses for the University of Alabama Department of Journalism & Creative Media (formerly Telecommunication & Film) and did the same for a couple of years at the University of Montevallo. Since 2018, he has produced media for the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band as a volunteer staff member.
As an undergrad at UA, Nathan worked at Alabama Public Radio hosting Jazz music programming, and served as Associate Producer for the 2008 Alabama Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony production for the Center for Public Television and Alabama Public Television.
He and his wife Lauren have been married for 15 years, and have a daughter in nursing school, and a son in middle school. He loves to watch Alabama football with his family and friends (when he's not with the band), and he enjoys quiet nights in the pool or watching movies. He and his son and I are hyper-creative people who love playing and listening to music, building things in the workshop, and attending concerts and car shows.
