KEEPING CHILDREN & YOUTH SAFE

AUGUST 10th


A bestselling author, a cyber privacy for youth expert, and community leaders provide practical, everyday tips on keeping children and youth safe, whether online, at school or in the community. This is the fifth program in the “Where Is God When Life Happens?” series, which are jointly sponsored by twelve churches.


This program will be on Wednesday, August 10th from 5:30– 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish (404 9th Street) The event includes free refreshments, music, and programming for the whole family! There is plenty of nearby parking on the UA campus after 4:30 p.m. There will be speakers throughout the evening so come when you can. The twelve churches, including First Presbyterian, hosting and presenting these programs include six denominations. Of the churches, six are predominately black and six are predominately white. These programs are one of the best opportunities for our diverse faith community to join together in fellowship, friendship. and wonderful programming. Plus, they’re fun!
