CHRISTMAS PAGEANT AND SERVICE OF LESSONS & CAROLS - Join us for this special service at 11AM this Sunday, December 3rd in the Sanctuary as our children present the annual Christmas Pageant.

JOIN US ON WEDNESDAY EVENING, November 29th for dinner catered by Southern Ale House at 5:15 p.m. followed by Cookie Decorating in the Living Room at 6 p.m. Dinner costs $8 per person with $20 max per family. M&M’s CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON - Mature Members - make plans to join us on Wednesday, December 13th at 11:30 a.m. at Bright Star for our Christmas Luncheon. Catch the bus from FPC at 10:15 a.m. RSVP to the church office by Sunday, December 10th.


CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT - Join us next Sunday, December 10th at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary for our Carols by Candlelight Service.

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS - Help make our Sanctuary festive during Advent. Purchase a poinsettia in memory or in honor of a loved one for $15 each by December 10th. Payment must accompany your order. The poinsettias may be picked up after the Christmas Eve services. Drop by the church office to fill out a form and leave your payment or click here to purchase online.


CHRISTMAS CAROLERS WANTED! Your family is invited to help us spread the Christmas spirit on Sunday, December 18th. We will gather for lunch in the Dining Room (after 11 a.m. Worship) then go Christmas caroling to FPC homebound and those living in care facilities.

WOODEN BOWLS TO BENEFIT KENYA - Consider purchasing a turned, wooden bowl as a donation to benefit Kenyan mission projects with our partners at Tumutumu Hospital and the School for the Deaf! Bowls are displayed at and can be purchased this Monday - Friday, Dec. 4th-8th at UPerk. Bowls are crafted by Charlie Durham and Joe Perkins.

STILLMAN COLLEGE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CANDLELIGHT CONCERT will be on Sunday, December 3rd at 6 p.m. in Birthright Alumni Hall on the Stillman College campus. Admission is free.


OFFICER NOMINATIONS - The Nominating Committee is in the process of preparing a slate of candidates for Elders and Deacons for the Class of 2027. The office of Elder is one of servant leadership undertaken by people of wisdom and maturity of faith. Elders are called to discern the will of God for the church and then lead the people of God in that direction. The office of Deacon is one of compassion, service and sharing the redeeming love of Christ with all - but especially with those carrying heavy burdens. All FPC Members have the right to nominate other church members. After prayerful consideration, please list your nominations below and place in the offering plate. ANGEL TREE - Thank you for adoption our angels this year! This is the 20th Anniversary of the Angel Tree Mission Project at FPC. This year we will assist 114 children. Gifts are due back by Sunday, December 3rd.

ARE YOU IN YOUR 70’S OR BEYOND? Did you know there are tax advantages to giving to your church through your IRA? Those who are 70 ½ can make direct charitable contributions from their IRA tax free (up to $100,000 per calendar year). At age 73, any such charitable contributions made directly from an IRA as a part of RMD (Required Minimum Distribution) are also tax free. There are additional advantages giving this way.
