Rev. Dr. Sue
Westfall, General Presbyter of the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley, led
us in worship.
The Rev. Dr.
Sue Westfall is the General Presbyter for the Presbytery of Sheppards and
Lapsley. She has also served in the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta and
Presbytery de Cristo in southern Arizona. Prior to serving in presbytery roles,
Sue served pastorates in Buffalo, Denver, and Tucson. Just prior to coming to
Sheppards and Lapsley, she served as program director for Macedonian Ministry
(now Ministry Collaborative) that provides professional support for clergy. Sue
is the founder of Denver’s premier homeless shelter provides wrap-around
support for those experiencing homelessness and in Tucson, founded the
Borderlands Site of the Young Adult Volunteer in Mission program. With her two
clergy sisters she is the author of the 2003 Horizon’s Bible Study The Face
is Familiar: Remembering Unnamed Women in Scripture. She is the proud
mother of three grown children.
