Children's Music Program
- Cherub Choir: Pre-K and Kindergartners. Rehearsal is Wednesday evenings from 6-6:30 in room 115. Using music and movement activities this choir allows children to explore music, their voices, and instruments. They also learn how to use music to praise and worship the Lord. Children sing in worship at least once each semester.
- Lyric Choir: First and Second graders. Rehearsal is during the Logos program from 4-4:45. This choir uses small-group and large-group activities to explore music, worship and singing and to begin teaching music reading fundamentals. The Lyric choir participates in worship several times during the year. Jeffrey Anthony is the director.
- Chapel Choir: Third, Fourth and Fifth graders. Rehearsal is during the Logos program from 4:40-5:30. The Chapel Choir emphasizes leadership skills through teamwork, discipline and striving for excellence. The choir members continue to advance music fundamentals and singing skills and learn about working hard to offer God our very best. In addition to singing in worship on a regular basis, these children usually participate in a Christmas program, a winter choir tour, and a spring musical. Children who have completed the third grade are also eligible to attend the Montreat Worship and Music Conference during the summer. Jeffrey Anthony is the director.
