Logos
2010 LOGOS Kick-Off- Wednesday, October 6th
Logos is a mid-week (Wednesday) program for children in first through fifth grades. Carpools bring children to the church immediately after school. Following is a typical Wednesday schedule for Logos:
3-3:20 Snack/movie
3:25-3:55 Activity/Recreation
4-4:40 Choir for all ages
4:45-5:30 Bible
5:30-6 Supper with Table Parents
In order for a child to participate in LOGOS, a parent/guardian MUST participate in the program as well. Parents may choose the area in which they participate (shepherds, study hall monitors, Bible teachers, LOGOS planning team, etc.)
Parents MUST attend a parent meeting each year to renew their commitment to the LOGOS program. You may attend one on Wednesday, September 6th at 6 PM in Bible 101 or Sunday, September 26 after the 11 AM Worship Service in the McGiffert Chapel.
There is only one rule of LOGOS : Everyone is to treat everyone else as a child of God. No one has the right to treat anyone else as if they do not matter.
The cost of the LOGOS program covers the meals, Bible curriculum, activities, and supplemental materials the children use. (Scholarships are available.) Cost is $75.00 per child per semester.
